CBAM data.
From installation to shipment.
Carbon CBAM helps manufacturers and exporters prepare structured, traceable, and verifiable embedded emissions data for the European importer.
CBAM-2026.08 calculation version methodology and factors locked
The platform prepares exporter data. Filing the declaration and surrendering certificates are performed by the authorized CBAM declarant in the EU.
Operational update · CN code list unchanged
Verifiers gain access to the CBAM Registry
The European Commission has published the registration procedure for accredited verifiers. The update sets out access procedures, registration timelines, and preparation of verification reports for actual emissions.
Accredited verifiers gain access to the CBAM Registry.
The registry will support issuance of reports for the first annual declaration covering 2026.
One digital trail
for every result
The source document, measurement, factor, and formula version are linked to the final value. This simplifies exchange with the importer, internal control, and independent verification.
Collect
Production volumes, fuel, electricity, raw materials, precursors, and supporting documents.
Calculate
Transfer data to an independent calculation core and preserve the result version.
Validate
Identify gaps, deviations, incorrect units, and unverified values.
Share
Create a controlled information package for the importer and verifier.
Six steps
without breaking the data chain
The process follows the logic of the definitive CBAM regime while remaining clear for production, ESG, and export teams.
Classify the product
Check the CN code, CBAM sector, country of origin, and shipment parameters.
Describe the installation
Define installation boundaries, production processes, routes, and precursors.
Collect primary data
Fuel, electricity, raw materials, production output, measurements, and supporting documents.
Calculate emissions
Transfer normalized data to the external calculation core and obtain a versioned result.
Product coverage
across six sectors
Final applicability is determined by the CN code of the specific product and the provisions of Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2023/956.
Iron and steel
Pig iron, steel, rolled products, pipes, fasteners, and other goods under CN codes listed in Annex I to the Regulation.
Aluminium
Unwrought aluminium, profiles, sheets, foil, and selected aluminium products.
Cement
Clinker, Portland cement, aluminous cement, and other cements under the applicable tariff headings.
Fertilizers
Ammonia, nitric acid, and mineral or chemical nitrogen fertilizers.
Hydrogen
Hydrogen as a CBAM good, taking into account applicable production routes and emissions.
Electricity
Imported electricity and the applicable CBAM methodology for determining emissions.
